Key Summary of the Committee

The Membership Engagement Committee shall:

- Define clear objectives for membership growth and retention.

- Understand member needs through surveys, feedback, and direct engagement.

- Design targeted programs and events to increase member participation.

- Implement effective communication strategies to keep members informed and engaged.

- Foster a sense of community among members through networking opportunities and collaboration.

- Continuously measure engagement efforts and recommend improvements to enhance member experience.


The Leadership of the Committee:

Leadership

- Chairperson: Leads meetings, ensures committee objectives are met, and reports to the Chamber Board.

- Vice-Chair: Assists the Chairperson and assumes duties in their absence.

- Administrative Support: Handles documentation, communication, and record-keeping.

Committee Members

- The committee shall consist of 5-10 members selected from chamber members in good standing.

- Members should represent diverse industries and business backgrounds.

- All members must commit to active participation and collaboration.


The committee will focus on the following key areas:

- Welcome & Onboarding: Develop a structured onboarding process for new members to integrate them into the chamber community.

- Member Education: Provide workshops, training, and resources that benefit members professionally and personally.

- Networking Opportunities: Organize networking events to foster relationships and business growth.

- Exclusive Member Benefits: Enhance and promote benefits available to chamber members.

- Recognition Programs: Celebrate member achievements and contributions to the business community.


Challenge yourself
