Key Committee Summary

The Career Development Committee shall:

- Develop and promote educational programs, workshops, and training sessions tailored to member needs.

- Facilitate networking events that connect professionals with mentors, industry leaders, and potential employers.

- Establish mentorship initiatives that pair experienced professionals with those seeking career guidance.

- Provide access to career resources, job placement assistance, and internship opportunities.

- Collaborate with local businesses, educational institutions, and workforce development organizations to support career pathways.

- Continuously assess the effectiveness of career development initiatives and implement improvements.


Leadership

Chairperson: Leads meetings, ensures committee goals are met, and reports to the Chamber Board.

Vice-Chair: Assists the Chairperson and assumes duties in their absence.

Administrative Support: Manages documentation, communication, and coordination of initiatives.

Committee Members

- The committee shall consist of 5-10 members selected from chamber members in good standing.

- Members should have experience in workforce development, education, human resources, or career coaching.

- All members must commit to active participation and collaboration.
